Claire Dub is a filmmaker based in NYC. She approaches narrative and short-form digital projects by understanding their objective, crafting a big picture to inform the fine details, and making room for a sense of humor.
ln addition to creating client-commissioned film projects from concept to completion, Claire assists on specific aspects of project development and production. Her passion lies in fictional narrative filmmaking, with experience on short films as writer, director and producer / line producer. Additionally Claire has led university workshops and lectures in film and design at Bowling Green, Pratt, Columbia and Harvard Universities.
Claire received her Master of Architecture from Columbia University and an Honors Bachelor of Arts from University of Toronto. Her architectural experience has informed her practice as a filmmaker, helping Claire devise strategies and tools to build a flicker of an idea up into the communicative documents, collaborations with experts, and hard budget and schedule numbers that will make it a real existing thing for others to experience in space and time.
Claire hails from the big skies and golden prairies of Western Canada.
