7115 BY SZEKI - SPRING / SUMMER '15 DIGITAL SHORT
CONCEPT / DIRECTION / PRODUCTION
CONCEPT:
The simplicity of Szeki design throughout the multiplicity of intimate events and emotions encompassed in one ubiquitous, everyday site: bed.
↑ Directed and produced with collaborator Randy Rubin.
A place that is intimate / honest / lazy / sexualized / comfortable / risky ....
↑ The Szeki aeshetic: clean and refined.
↑ A bedroom - one site, many activities / emotions.
Moving around repetitiously and with changing momentum.
↓ A bed is activated differently depending on the time of the day. We thought of the bed like the fact of a clock, which meant shooting always shooting while moving the camera position / camera moves around.
Production Design:
↑ More than any one component of it feeling distinguishable, it should be received as a palate of whites and grays - a textured collage of light, airy whites that allow the model and her clothing to pop off the screen. Low-lying mirrors make for deeper shots.
